Everyone knows we adore the former Soviet Union scene, plenty of quality bands there and Ankhagram is no exception - beautiful yet melancholic (mostly piano) melodies, rich (sometimes complex too) orchestrations and howling moody vocals blend up to make maybe the soundtrack of the upcoming apocalypse... recommended for everyone into Funeral Doom/Depressive/Gothic!

As you probably know by now i rarely comment or review an album... can't resist though for that one : fuckin' great!!! Haunting melodies, ambient choirs & harsh/hawling vocals create a deeply pessimistic and depressive mood... totally recommended for every depressive/funeral doom metal fan!
As a brief preview you can listen to "In Misery" track which i just uploaded to my Box widget.
